Affordable Art Fair

Earlier this month I was invited to The Affordable Art Fair in Hampstead.

I really enjoy the concept, and how it brings different genres, styles, artists together in one space.

There are many things in life that I have regretted spending my money on - but art has never been one of them.

It was my first time attending the fair with partner, and I actually think it’s a brilliant date night idea. To gauge what your likes, dislikes are - to find and discover new perspectives, tastes and boundaries. You might come away pleasantly surprised (or mildly terrified). Either way, you learn something new.

This one was more poignant than others I'd attended, too, as many of the pieces had been created during lockdown. Somewhat heartening that out of that horrible and uncertain time, something beautiful came out of it all - and to see it under one roof was lovely.

All in all, lovely way to spend an evening - thank you for having us, Affordable Art Fair!
